Remember our post on July 29 about the three open gaps on the ES? The "when" is today, the "how" is clear. First gap (and our first target) has already been filled. We're managing this trade (stop above entry), we'll see how far it takes us.

The ideal "early-bird" entry was at 4.15am, as seen on our 2:1, so as soon as we had some coffee we knew what to do.

Keep a journal, think ahead. And mindful trading as always!

Let's follow this trade a bit.

11.25am moved up our stop to 2099.75. We'll see if 2109.50 holds or breaks.

12pm trailing stop hit, trade well done.

Retest holds, with volume, so far so good.

UPDATE 9.30am 2015 08 06 We got out of this long position with minimal gains, based on the overnight action. We'll continue to monitor events.
