A Torontonian since his youth, Ferenc brings his decade-long banking software project experience to Remek. He started his own algorithmic trading strategies in 2005. Over the years, he has developed his unique hands-on expertise in evidence-based, technically motivated directional trading with a sharp focus on human behavioural patterns. He publishes in the Remek! blog and contributes to the Remek! Forum, and supports worthy causes in his old country.
A soccer, piano and coffee addict, Ferenc holds an MBA and an MSc in IT from Central European University and a teaching degree from the University of Toronto.
As Visiting Lecturer at Central European University, Ferenc has taught Financial Trading Design and Technology in the Master of Science in Business Analytics and the Master of Science in Finance programs. His research interests focus on the study of crowd behaviour as it applies to financial markets, and the development of world-class trading software for retail traders.
Ferenc lives in New Brunswick and Toronto, and you might also spot him at one of his favourite cafés in Budapest. He can be reached at ferenc @ remek.ca
